GetBiz Campaigns — Privacy Policy

Product scope: GetBiz Campaigns is an email-marketing tool for building contact lists, sending campaigns and automations, and measuring results. Your contact lists are your data, for which your organization is the controller and GetBiz is a processor. See also the company-wide Privacy Policy, GetBiz Campaigns Terms, and Data Deletion.

1. Who we are

GetBiz Solutions (“GetBiz”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a business software provider based in India. Questions? Contact contact@getbiz.solutions or our Contact page.

2. Our role (controller and processor)

For the contact lists and recipient data you upload and send to through GetBiz Campaigns, your organization is the data controller and GetBiz acts as a data processor that handles the data on your instructions. For our own account administration, billing, and security, GetBiz is the controller. As the controller, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and valid consent to email your recipients, and for honoring unsubscribe requests (Section 5).

3. Information we collect

• Account & billing data — your name, work email, company, password, and payment details processed by our payment partner.
• Contact / recipient data — the email addresses, names, and attributes you upload or collect into lists, together with consent and subscription status.
• Campaign content — the subject lines, email content, and media you create and send.
• Email tracking data — opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes, and related events (Section 4).
• Usage & technical data — log, device, and diagnostic data needed to operate and secure the Service.

4. Email open & click tracking

Where you enable it, GetBiz Campaigns measures campaign performance using a tracking pixel (to record email opens) and link wrapping (to record clicks). This can record that a recipient opened an email or clicked a link, along with the time and technical data such as IP address and device/user-agent. We process this on your behalf to provide your campaign analytics. As the controller, you are responsible for disclosing tracking to your recipients where the law requires it. You can disable open and/or click tracking in your campaign settings.

5. Consent, opt-in, and anti-spam

You are solely responsible for emailing only recipients who have given a lawful basis/consent, for including a working unsubscribe mechanism and your physical mailing address where required, for honoring unsubscribe and opt-out requests promptly, and for complying with anti-spam and data-protection laws (for example CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, and India’s DPDP Act). GetBiz Campaigns provides unsubscribe and suppression tools, but does not independently verify your legal basis to contact a recipient.

6. How we use information

• Send the campaigns and automations you create to the lists you choose.
• Measure delivery and engagement (opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes).
• Authenticate users and, where enabled, connect the integrations you choose.
• Provide support, maintain security, prevent abuse and spam, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data or your contact lists, and we do not use them for our own advertising.

7. Integrations & sub-processors

7.1 Email sending providers

To deliver your email, GetBiz Campaigns sends through the provider you configure — for example Amazon SES, SMTP, SendGrid, Mailgun, Elastic Email, SparkPost, Postmark, or Gmail. The recipient addresses and email content needed to deliver your campaign are shared with that provider, under its terms, so your emails can be sent.

7.2 Google (Sign-in & reCAPTCHA)

Where enabled, Sign in with Google (via Google OAuth) and Google reCAPTCHA (to protect forms and sign-up from abuse). For sign-in we access your basic Google profile/email; reCAPTCHA sends abuse-detection signals to Google. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

7.3 Facebook (Sign-in)

Where enabled, Login with Facebook (via Facebook Login). We access your basic Facebook profile/email only to authenticate you, under the Meta Platform Terms. GetBiz Campaigns is not endorsed by or affiliated with Meta.

7.4 AI features (OpenAI)

Optional AI features (for example subject-line and content suggestions) send only the content needed for your request to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a result, under its terms. If you do not use AI features, no content is sent.

7.5 Payments & automation

Billing is processed by Stripe under its terms; GetBiz does not store full card numbers. Where you enable them, delivery/engagement webhooks and automation connectors (for example Zapier) send the data you configure to the endpoints you set up.

8. How we share information

We share personal data only with the integrations and sub-processors you enable (Section 7), providers that host and operate the Service under contract, and where required by law or to protect rights and the integrity of the Service. We do not sell personal data.

9. Data retention

We retain contact lists and campaign data while your account is active or as your settings/contract require. On deletion of a list/contact or a verified deletion request, we delete or irreversibly anonymize the data, except where retention is required by law (for example to evidence consent or for tax and accounting) or held temporarily in backups purged on a rolling schedule. Unsubscribe/suppression records may be retained to honor opt-outs.

10. Security

We protect data using encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and standard operational safeguards. No method is completely secure, but we review our measures regularly.

11. Your rights

Recipients: you can unsubscribe using the link in any email, or contact the sender, who controls the list. Users: you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact contact@getbiz.solutions or use our Data Deletion page; where data is controlled by a sender, we forward the request and assist as their processor.

12. Data deletion

You can delete contacts and lists and disconnect integrations in the product. To request deletion of data already processed, see our Data Deletion page. Verified requests are processed within 7 business days.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Service or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
