GetBiz Social — Privacy Policy

Product scope: GetBiz Social lets you connect your own social accounts and publish, schedule, manage messages, and view analytics from one place. See also the company-wide Privacy Policy, GetBiz Social Terms, and Data Deletion.

1. Who we are

GetBiz Solutions (“GetBiz”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a business software provider based in India. Questions? Contact contact@getbiz.solutions or our Contact page.

2. Our role (controller and processor)

For the content and account data you connect and manage through GetBiz Social, your organization is the data controller and GetBiz acts as a data processor that handles the data on your instructions. For our own account administration, billing, security, and website, GetBiz is the controller. We process data only to provide the features you enable, and never to build independent profiles of you or your audience for our own purposes.

3. Information we collect

• Account & profile data — your GetBiz account details and the identifiers of the third-party accounts you connect.
• Connected-platform data — only the data permitted by the scopes you authorize (see Section 5): your platform profile, the pages/boards/accounts you manage, the content you publish or schedule, and engagement/analytics metrics.
• Content — posts, captions, images, videos, comments, and messages you create, schedule, or manage through the Service.
• Access tokens — OAuth access/refresh tokens issued by each platform, stored encrypted and used only to perform the actions you request. We do not store your platform passwords.
• Usage & technical data — log, device, and diagnostic data needed to operate and secure the Service.

4. How we use information

• Authenticate you and connect your chosen platform accounts.
• Publish, schedule, and manage the content and messages you direct us to.
• Retrieve and display analytics and engagement metrics.
• Provide support, maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data or the data obtained from any connected platform, and we do not use platform data for advertising or any purpose beyond the features you enabled.

5. Connected platforms

Each integration is optional and user-initiated. We access only the data your granted permissions (scopes) allow, and only while the connection is active. You can disconnect any platform at any time from the integration settings, which revokes our access and deletes the stored tokens. Our use of each platform’s data complies with that platform’s developer and platform policies. GetBiz Social is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with any connected platform or its owner (including Meta, Google, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X Corp., TikTok, and the other networks listed below). Depending on your plan, GetBiz Social can connect: Facebook Pages, Instagram, and Threads (Meta); YouTube and Google Business Profile(Google); LinkedIn (profiles and Organization Pages); Pinterest; X (Twitter); TikTok; and Reddit, Telegram, Discord, Mastodon, Bluesky, and OK (Odnoklassniki).

5.1 Meta — Facebook, Instagram & Threads

Access: Facebook Pages, Instagram professional (Business/Creator) accounts, and Threads, via Facebook Login and the Meta Graph API.

Data we access: your name and profile identifier; the Facebook Pages and connected Instagram accounts you manage; content you publish or schedule; comments and messages (where you enable inbox features); and page/post and Instagram insights.

Permissions (scopes) we may request: public_profile, email, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, pages_manage_posts, pages_manage_metadata, pages_messaging, instagram_basic, instagram_content_publish, instagram_manage_comments, instagram_manage_insights, read_insights, business_management.

Use, retention & deletion: used solely to provide scheduling, publishing, inbox, and analytics for the accounts you connect. Tokens and cached data are kept while the connection is active and deleted on disconnection or on a verified deletion request. We support Meta’s data-deletion callback. Our use complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

5.2 Pinterest

Access: Pinterest business accounts, via the Pinterest API.

Data we access: your Pinterest profile (name, username, avatar, account type); the boards and Pins you choose to manage; Pins we create or schedule on your behalf; and Pin/board analytics (impressions, saves, outbound clicks).

Permissions (scopes) we may request: user_accounts:read, boards:read, boards:write, pins:read, pins:write (plus analytics scopes where enabled).

Use, retention & deletion: used solely to provide board/Pin scheduling, publishing, and analytics for the account you connect. Tokens and cached data are kept while connected and deleted on disconnection or on a verified deletion request. Our use complies with the Pinterest Developer Guidelines and Platform Policy.

5.3 LinkedIn

Access: LinkedIn member profiles and Organization (Company) Pages, via Sign In with LinkedIn and the LinkedIn Marketing / Share APIs.

Data we access: your basic member profile (name, identifier, profile picture) and email; the Organization Pages you administer; content you publish or schedule; and post/page analytics where enabled.

Permissions (scopes) we may request: openid, profile, email, w_member_social, r_organization_social, w_organization_social, rw_organization_admin (depending on the LinkedIn API products granted to the app).

Use, retention & deletion: used solely to provide posting, scheduling, and analytics for the member or Organization Page you connect. Tokens and cached data are kept while connected and deleted on disconnection or on a verified deletion request. Our use complies with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use and Platform Guidelines.

5.4 Google — YouTube & Business Profile

Access: YouTube channels and Google Business Profile locations, via Google OAuth and the YouTube Data and Business Profile APIs.

Data we access: your Google account identity for sign-in; the YouTube channels and Business Profile locations you manage; videos and posts you publish or schedule; and the related analytics/insights.

Use, retention & deletion: used solely to publish and schedule content and show analytics for the channels/locations you connect. Tokens and cached data are kept while connected and deleted on disconnection or on a verified deletion request. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy (including its Limited Use requirements) and the YouTube API Services Terms.

5.5 X (Twitter)

Access: X (formerly Twitter) profiles, via X OAuth and the X API. Data we access: your profile, the content you publish or schedule, and basic engagement metrics.

Use, retention & deletion: used solely to publish, schedule, and report on content for the account you connect. Tokens and cached data are kept while connected and deleted on disconnection or on a verified deletion request. Our use complies with the X Developer Agreement and Policy.

5.6 TikTok

Access: TikTok accounts, via TikTok OAuth and the TikTok API. Data we access: your profile, the videos you publish or schedule, and basic analytics.

Use, retention & deletion: used solely to publish, schedule, and report on content for the account you connect. Tokens and cached data are kept while connected and deleted on disconnection or on a verified deletion request. Our use complies with the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and Platform policies.

5.7 Reddit, Telegram, Discord, Mastodon, Bluesky & OK

Access: where you connect them, GetBiz Social also supports Reddit, Telegram, Discord, Mastodon, Bluesky, and OK (Odnoklassniki) via each platform’s official API or bot interface.

Data we access: the profile/channel/community you connect, the content you publish or schedule, and basic engagement data where the platform exposes it. Use, retention & deletion: used solely to publish, schedule, and report on content for the account you connect; tokens and cached data are kept while connected and deleted on disconnection or on a verified deletion request. Our use complies with each platform’s developer terms and policies.

5.8 AI features (OpenAI & Google Gemini)

GetBiz Social offers optional AI features (for example AI-assisted captions, content, and images). When you use them, the text or media you submit for that feature is sent to our AI providers — OpenAI and Google (Gemini) — to generate the result. We send only the content needed to perform the request, do not use it to build advertising profiles, and our providers process it under their own terms. If you do not use the AI features, no content is sent to these providers.

We share personal data only with:

• The connected platform — to perform the actions you request (e.g. publishing a post sends it to that platform).
• Service providers (sub-processors) that host and operate the Service under contract and confidentiality obligations.
• Legal / safety — where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not transfer platform data to any party except as needed to provide the features you enabled.

7. Data retention

We retain connected-platform data only while your integration is active. On disconnection or a verified deletion request, we delete or irreversibly anonymize that data, except where retention is required by law (for example tax, accounting, or security records) or held temporarily in backups that are purged on a rolling schedule.

8. Security

We protect access tokens and personal data using encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and standard operational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our measures regularly.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact contact@getbiz.solutions or use our Data Deletion page. Where your data is controlled by your organization, we will forward your request to them and assist as their processor.

10. Data deletion

You can disconnect any platform at any time from the integration settings, which revokes our access and removes the stored tokens. To request deletion of data already processed, see our Data Deletion page. Verified requests are processed within 7 business days.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Service or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
